Hi Ladies

Just to let you know what's going on with classes:

Monday 2.00pm at the Hawthorne Centre

Monday 6.15pm at Great Sankey High School (4 weeks only)

Wednesday 1.00pm at Winwick Road Fire Station

They are all called General Crafts, so we could do more or less anything that people want to do. None of them have actually started yet because of problems with either heating in the buildings or the weather.

Hope you're all ok and coped ok with the snow one way or another. Big sigh of relief here now it's thawed!! I was never so pleased to see rain!

Just got back from the Funday at Fearnhead, it was mad busy, Jane and Pauline had set the table out very attractively and I believe were doing well. look forward to hearing all about it on Monday. See you all soon..........Love Glen

Credit Crunch Crafts course

Hi all

Just to let you know that the Credit Crunch Crafts course starts at the college on Monday 21st September. It's not on the college database yet, so may be subject to change!

The class runs from 5pm to 7pm.

Hope you can make it! If you have any ideas for things you'd particularly like to do, please say so. Not that I'm short of ideas!!

Also, there is to be an open studio event at an Appleton woman's house. I think she'd be happy for others to join her. She is charging 10% of what you make, which does make it no-risk! There is a ceiling of £25, just in case you sell millions....! It's on the 12th September, and details are here:

Not decided whether to do it myself yet. Not sure the first one will be a success, but I've a feeling it could develop from here into something quite good.
