Click on these links for more info!!

This link may be worth a look - I haven't read it myself yet, but it's a free e-book called "How to motivate creative people (inluding yourself)". Sounds like it could be interesting and useful!

Also, there is to be an open studio event at an Appleton woman's house. I think she'd be happy for others to join her. She is charging 10% of what you make, which does make it no-risk! There is a ceiling of £25, just in case you sell millions....! It's on the 12th September, and details are here:

Not decided whether to do it myself yet. Not sure the first one will be a success, but I've a feeling it could develop from here into something quite good.

See you later!!

Ok, I've just worked out how you can add your own accounts, so you can post as yourself.

At the top, click on New Post, then on the new page click on Dashboard (ignore the new post for now).

Then on the page that comes up, click on Settings.

Then click on Permissions.

You will see a section saying Blog Authors. You can add yourself in there.

Good luck. A gold star to the first to do it!!!!

New Courses

Well done Cath, the one in Golden Square sounds brilliant, doesn't it?

The college have decided not to run the Credit Crunch Crafts until September because some of the people who signed up to do it are on leave. Meanwhile the Business Planning course starts on Thursday 6th August for 5 weeks (not 6). We'll leave the first one at 6.15 - 8.15, as that's what the college have down, but we can change it to another time if that is better for people.

I have the Credit Crunch Crafts in my diary starting on Monday 14th September, session times 5 - 7 pm. I need to double-check this though, as originally they said Wednesday, and there has been a bit of confusion over it on their database.

Anyway, hopefully I'll see you soon!
